(not gay as in gay gay as in cheery: bright and pleasant; promoting a feeling of cheer; "a cheery hello"; "a gay sunny room"; "a sunny smile")

Hope you guys take it easy, and ill try be more active journal wise but it feels weird writing all these random things now and then haha.

Ahhh yes the usual yes no or i cant draw a straight line argument comes along.

If you would like to learn to draw realistic portraits or anything as a matter of fact i would definatly look into getting this book
found at this link
The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain
[link]

or you could follow this link.
[link]
Starting at the fundamentals of drawing which is a more basic version of that book.

The whole theory behind correct drawing is being able to tap into our R-mode [right hemisphere] of our brain...im not going to explain it to anyone just go see for yourself :)
it really works. ANYONE CAN DRAW!

The shutdown of actoneart has happened.
After long bitching and moaning about activity that alot of people never gave a shit about
i think it was a good move, even though the original members all fucked off to go create another group
known as IN, a good few people  still carried on keeping things up and running because AO was more of a social get together to post random things, have a good chat and help people into creating art that they can appreciate.
Not forcing you to create a specific style or try to be like some artist out there.
To develope on your own and to develope your own style through your own artistic ability.

I joined a good couple of months before AO changed over to another version and it was good times.

So im sure ill see you guys/girls around
just add me on dA or facebook if you want to still keep in contact

ill try keep journals posted all the time, would be nice to have some comments shared aswell.

URGENT
TWO SUBJECT LINES TO BEWARE OF:

BETTER  SAFE THAN SORRY. READ AND HEED.

PLEASE INFORM EVERYONE

Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are being sent and the moment that you open these emails your computer will crash and you will not be able to fix it!

If you get an email along the lines of 'Osama Bin Laden Captured' or 'Osama Hanged', don't open the attachment.

This e-mail is being distributed through countries around the globe, but mainly in the US and Israel

Be considerate & send this warning to whomever you know.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:

You should be alert during the next days:
Do not open any message with an attached file called 'Invitation' regardless of who sent it.

It is a virus that  opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer.

This  virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list,  that is why you should send this e-mail to all your contacts.

It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it
If you receive a mail called 'invitation', though sent by a friend, do not open it and shut down your computer immediately.

This is  the worst virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever.

This virus was  discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus.

This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.
Many Sad things have happened in the past month or two, not a really great start to 2009.

The passing of a great individual known as PMI the founder of a Graphics Group and Family throughout the internet known as +MW

Over the years that ive become more into the digital types of art starting off at signatures back in the older forums there was always 1 person that offered to give some good crit to help you out or even show you a few tricks of the trade. As time went on there were also the haters out there and that will always remain the same.

A great teacher and mentor and an amazing person all in one PMI was one of the most influential persons ive known and will be sorely missed by everyone that knows him. Not a day went on where he wouldnt share any little tips to the new people starting off in any art direction whatsoever, balancing his life with his work and family and adding to the community like no other individual and he left behind many things with alot of good people and some great artists.

And one of his comments left was "You are not a professional unless you have helped someone"

sharing, creating and giving to everyone else like no other.

Rest in peace Cleveland (+mw.PMI)
You will not be forgotten

My condolences go out to his family and prayers alike.
